Patrick Eveno
Folimage
While working for the Folimage company, based in Valence, France, Patrick Eveno produced many short films including Le moine et le poisson (Michael Dudok de Wit, 1994), nominated for an Oscar for Best Short Animated Film. His impressive filmography also includes L'enfant au grelot (Jacques-Rémy Girerd, 1998), Petite escapade (Pierre-Luc Granjon, 2001), Le trop petit prince (Zoia Trofimova, 2002) and Le couloir (Jean-Loup Felicioli and Alain Gagnol, 2005), as well as four films co-produced with Canada's National Film Board: Zodiac (Oerd van Cuijlenborg, 2001), Francesc lo Valent (Carles Porta Garcia, 2003), Circuit marine (Isabelle Favez, 2003) and Tragic Story with Happy Ending (Regina Pessoa, 2005). In 2003 he produced the feature film La prophétie des grenouilles (Jacques-Rémy Girerd), which was highly successful. Eveno left Folimage in 2005 to become head of development at Citia (Cité de l'image en mouvement), in Annecy.
