It's a Girl's World
What does the social world of girls look like? At first glance, it’s about sharing secrets, giggling over boys and carefree fun. But lurking underneath this façade of niceness is a hidden culture of nastiness that pits one friend against another. It’s a Girl’s World ultimately shatters the myth that social bullying among girls is an acceptable part of growing up.

IT'S A TEEN'S WORLD – Call for participants in a new documentary!

The director of the acclaimed National Film Board of Canada documentary film It's a Girl's World about social bullying needs your help. Filmmaker Lynn Glazier is looking for participants in a new CBC TV documentary film and CBC radio series called It's a Teen's World that explore the culture of teens, sex and power.

Did you know that as many as 80 per cent of kids in high school say that they've been sexually harassed by classmates by the time they graduate? Is calling girls bitches and hos just a normal part of conversation? Do you feel that giving sexual favours is expected among teenagers? Do you or someone you know use the web to find casual hookups?

If you are a teenager, the parent of teenaged girls or a sex educator living in Ontario and have something to share about your experience, please send an email to itsateensworld@hotmail.com.

Confidentiality is assured.
