Steve Woloshen

Steven Woloshen was born in Montreal, Canada in 1960. Since 1982, Woloshen has created documentary, animated and experimental film projects and has been invited to show his films at festivals, cinematheques and galleries in his own country and around the world. He has lectured on the subject of animation and experimentation and has been commissioned to create short animated pieces for other filmmakers, artists and events. In 2002, Steven Woloshen presented to the public a retrospective of his films, entitled: “Carte Blanche a Steven Woloshen” at the Cinémathèque Quebecois . Since that time, he has hosted many cameraless animation workshops and has been twice nominated for a Jutra award in the category of animation.
