Get Animated! is the NFB’s annual cross-Canada animation celebration, bringing you some of Canada’s finest animated films.

Meet a troubled young vampire and a six-year-old who collects sounds, board a plane with a traveller who is embarking on a journey into fantasy, and get to know one man who’d rather be a donkey—and another whose broken romance leads him on an absurd exploration of his life.

The NFB, in partnership with a number of organizations across the country, is bringing the magic of animation to over a dozen cities through three exclusive screening programs, including two for children and families.

Get Animated! marks International Animation Day with an amazing selection of films: from boldly experimental to flat-out funny, there’s something for everyone.
